SEAF BV has invested in Opus Sign Ltd., a graphics design and printing solution provider, owned and operated by two female entrepreneurs.
Dhaka, Bangladesh – SEAF Bangladesh Ventures (“SEAF BV”) has invested in Opus Sign Ltd. (“Opus”), a graphic design and printing solution provider catering to large corporations and NGOs including Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, and Grameenphone. SEAF BV will provide BDT 30mm (USD 0.39mm) of capital expenditure and working capital to increase production and storage capacity of its environmentally friendly printing process. In addition, SEAF BV is providing Opus with support services including developing financial and accounting systems and assisting in market linkages.

Established in 2007 by female entrepreneur Ms. Ummay Habiba Nila, Opus has established a solid client base and now finds its biggest challenge to be keeping up with growing demand for its services.
The Bangladesh advertising industry is currently growing at a rate of 10%, with print media leading the industry at 43% market share, while TV stands second at 36% share. Advertising agencies primarily serve the private national companies (PNC), multinational companies (MNC) and non-government organizations (NGO). The MNC’s constitute more that 60% of the media share followed by PNCs, which constitute 25%. The major client of the print media is the government.
