A Colombian executive with more than 20 years of experience in leadership positions in local and multinational organizations and entrepreneurial ventures, Mauricio Samper is currently the Managing Director of the SEAF Colombia Agribusiness Fund.
Prior to SEAF, Mauricio was Director of Cargill Foods Colombia, with business development responsibilities in Latin America. He also held CFO and COO responsibilities in several companies of the formerly known Grupo Santo Domingo (now Valorem) conglomerate. He is co-founder of Agrisamán, an industrial agriculture operations company for large-scale projects in Colombia.
Earlier, Mauricio was a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. in the Andean Region, and co-founder of Taller de Estrategia.
His education includes a BA in Economics and History from Boston College and a Master of Science in Management – Stanford Business School.
